FAQ
How are Chinese and English counted?
Chinese is counted by character (including punctuation), English by word. Both are shown separately, plus a whitespace-free character total.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. All counting happens locally in your browser; the page makes no network requests with your text.
How is reading time estimated?
Roughly 300 Chinese characters or 200 English words per minute. It is an estimate for reference.
